Last Week in Tacoma

When I moved to Washington two years ago (almost exactly), I hardly even knew where Tacoma was. Now, it has become one of the hardest places to leave. In the past two years I have made amazing friends, fallen in love with the PNW, and got to live near (and with) my sister. Gosh, I am going to miss it all.

Here are some snapshots of my last week in T-Town:

Finally had the chance to walk around UPS and it is gorgeous! Why does it sometimes take leaving to discover the best places?

We got Indian food at the farmer's market and then walked across the street to watch the Free Family Shorts at the Blue Mouse Theater, I couldn't have asked for a better last Saturday.

Hike guidelines: (1) eat brunch at the best spot in town (2) read books aloud in the car on the way there (3) hike with a history teacher so you can get free lessons on the Roman Empire (4) fall asleep on the way home.

I love that I was still in town for Karly's birthday, I would not have missed this for the world. 26 never looked so good.

I don't really have a place I call home, but some people will always feel like home. They will always be hardest to hug goodbye. So, since I am still a little bit weepy, I will just say, "See you soon friends!."
